THERE IS NO TRUTH

“We acknowledge there are many different truths. I’m certain that the truth exists for you and probably for the person sitting next to you. But this may not be the same truth.

This is because the truth of the matter is very often, for many people, what happens when we merge facts about the world with our beliefs about the world. So we all have different truths. They’re based on things like where we come from, how we were raised and how other people perceive us.”

Said by Katherine Maher, the CEO of NPR and former CEO of Wikimedia Foundation. A top “information” executive with a truth for everyone, at any time of day, depending on your mood and convenience. Oh, so post-modern.

For example, depending on where you’d been raised, 2+2=3. Or 5. Or maybe, today, “somebody perceived you” in a certain way that made a 2+2=4,1 ?

Or the truth is that there are no numbers? Because you changed the seat and merged with a different belief?
